EVENTS OF SZAID IN 2005(24)

 Date: March 2005  At the request of SZAID, the city government approved the 1st IDCF(Interior Design Cultural Festival)to be part of the 2nd Cultural Exhibition for Shenzhen. IDCF is the first of its kind in the field of interior design and also an important event for the interior design community. Therefore, officials from the Shenzhen Administration of Cultural Affairs and other departments consider it very important. Mr. Liu Zhuokeng, an official from the cultural department, comments on the IDCF, “it is positively significant to form ‘the Design Capital’and develop ‘original cultural industry’”.  Interior design has become a part of the original design industry. A great number of influential and powerful design firms in Shenzhen have been in a favorable position to compete with their counterparts nationwide. The interior design industry in Shenzhen will be booming in the not-distant future.
